Beni Suef University receives a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education to accredit the central laboratory of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received, at his office today, Dr. Mahmoud Wafiq, Director of Laboratory Qualification Department for International Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education, and Dr. Osama Saqr, a consultant at the Higher Education Development Projects Administration Unit, within the framework of handing over the international accreditation project of the central laboratory in preparation for the EJAC visit to grant the final accreditation for the central laboratory at the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Fatma Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the College, Prof. Abdel Rahim Hassan, Director of Quality Management, and Prof. Ahmed El Shahawi, Director of the Central Laboratory.
Prof. Dr. Mansour stressed that the university adopts a distinct research strategic plan through which it seeks to obtain accreditation for all the university’s faculties by providing all human needs including developing research laboratories and their equipment in order to occupy its position in the ranks of distinguished research universities regionally and internationally.
During the visit, the possibility of accrediting the largest possible number of laboratories at the faculties of the university was discussed with a proposal to form a committee to introduce accreditation within the faculties of the university, similar to the central laboratory of the College of Graduate Studies.
It is noteworthy that the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science has obtained the accreditation project for the central laboratory funded by the Ministry of Higher Education at one million eight hundred thousand pounds.
