The Minister of Higher Education, President of Beni Suef University and the Governor lay the foundation stone for Beni Suef National University

Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghneim, Governor of Beni Suef, and Major General / Ahmed Fahmy, Director of Projects Department in the Armed Forces, laid the foundation stone for Beni Suef National University, within the framework of the national project launched by President / Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to establish National universities, in the presence of the university's vice-presidents, faculties' Deans and faculty members, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas, Undersecretary of the founders of Beni Suef National University, members of the Senate and House of Representatives, Engineering Authority of Armed Forces and a number of executive and popular leaders.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan indicated that an area of ??42 acres has been allocated for the establishment of the National University. The first phase includes the Faculties of Medicine, Physiotherapy, Engineering and Advanced Technology, Digital Administrative Science, Languages ??and Humanities, Digital Media and Communication Arts, and Livestock Development and Food Processing, in addition to establishing advanced research centers.
Prof. Dr. Mansour emphasized that the National University will make a qualitative leap in university education system within the governorate by providing new and innovative educational programs to Keep pace with the current labor market and in accordance with the highest quality standards and ensuring the best level of educational service.
Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar listened to a detailed explanation about the National University from Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas about the colleges that will be established and the programs offered within the university. He praised the efforts made, so that all construction works can be completed according to a timetable in preparation for the start of the study during the next year 2021-2022.
