Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, inspected today the site of the new Ahlia University in a complex of 330 acres east of the Nile In the presence of Dr. Sameh Al Maraghi, Vice President of the University for the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Dr. Khaled Abbas, Undersecretary for the founders of national University, and a group of university and executive leaders, some officers of the engineering authority and officials of the companies who implementing the construction
During the visit, Dr. Mansour Hassan confirmed that Beni Suef National University will make a quantity leap for the university education system within the governorate, by providing new and innovative educational programs which keep up with the current labor market. Stressing the importance of expediting construction and implementation steps in accordance with the highest quality standards, and ensuring all sustainability factors to provide the best level of educational service
Dr. Mansour indicated that the university allocated an area of ??42 acres to establish the National University, the first phase include the Faculties of Medicine, Physical Therapy, Engineering and Advanced Technology, Digital Administrative Sciences, Languages ??and Humanities, the College of Digital Media and Communication Arts, the College of Livestock Development and Food Processing, in addition to Establish advanced research centers
Dr. Khaled Abbas, the vice founders of the national University of Beni Suef, explained that a twinning has been made between the national University and the University of Maryland in the United States of America to prepare some joint programs. He said that on the academic side, a working group has been organized from all colleges that includes professors in all disciplines, including faculty members and deans, especially deans who have colleges with specializations close to each other, such as the Faculties of Science (Earth Sciences, Navigation Sciences, and Medical Sciences), the College of Veterinary and the College Agriculture to make distinctive programs within the national University that combine these disciplines. and that the faculty members from migratory birds abroad expressed their agreement to return to teaching at the National University
