Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Major General Muhammad Al-Zamalout, Governor of Al-Wadi Al-Gedid, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the governorate and the university at the General Office of the New Valley Governorate, in the presence of Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity.

Dr. Mansour said that the protocol comes within the framework of cooperation and integration between the various state institutions, in light of the support and interest of the political leadership with people with special needs and their integration into society in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development, stressing that the university will train a number of young specialists and those interested in the field of people with special needs at the university and its specialized centers according to For the need of trainees and the programs that are agreed upon with the college.

The President of Beni Suef University added that the protocol includes holding courses specialized in communication skills with different cases of people with special needs, and the most important terms that must be used, along with courses to raise the competence of the trainees professionally and behaviorally in dealing with them, as a practical application of the study, and that the training is multiple and includes all The types of disabilities found in the different departments within the college.

Major General Muhammad Al-Zomlout, Governor of the New Valley, stressed the importance of cooperation with Beni Suef University, as it is one of the scientific edifices specialized in producing young people capable of rehabilitating persons with disabilities and providing distinguished services through the University's Faculty of Sciences for Special Needs for training, consulting and raising the level of professional awareness of specialists.
