Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the Board of the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, in the presence of Dr. Fatima Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the University President's Adviser

The university president confirmed during the council that the institute is looking forward to building partnerships with the industry sector, exporters and workers in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants, and that the scientific competencies in the institute are able to provide scientific advice and training to students and those interested in working in this field

The university president directed the necessity of marketing the institute’s research services to serve the community, provide scientific advice and laboratory analysis, and strive towards developing the institute’s resources through these research services and by developing new study programs

During the council, the university president discussed a number of decisions, the most important of which was the approval of the cooperation agreement between the institute and the Nawaat Center for Scientific Research, which provides research services and reduced analysis,
