Beni Suef University occupies the first place in the physical and engineering sciences locally and ranked 301-400 globally in the Times classification

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university won the first place in physical sciences locally over 18 Egyptian universities, and ranked 301-400 globally in the British Times Classification 2021 ,and for the fifth year in a row, Beni Suef University continues its successes in the history of Egyptian universities

Beni Suef University also ranked first with Aswan University at the level of Egyptian universities in engineering sciences, which numbered 14 Egyptian universities

and it ranked second among the 15 Egyptian universities in life sciences, and ranked 501-600 globally. And it achieved the tenth place among the 14 Egyptian universities in health and medical sciences, and ranked 601+ globally

This classification is based on five main indicators that contain a number of detailed sub-criteria in the fields of: Education (the educational environment at 30%); Research (volume of published research, income from scientific research, and reputation of 30%); Citations (30% research impact); International Relations (faculty member students and research at 7.5%); and industry income (transfer of knowledge from innovations and patents by 2.5%)

Dr. Mansour indicated that concerted efforts are the most important reason for preserving the global level of Beni Suef University. He also praised the efforts of researchers in all fields in terms of the number of research, patents, international participation and also qualitative citations in various fields. He also thanked Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the continuous effort of the National Committee for Classification and the Knowledge Bank, which is responsible for  training and delivering the best research, scientific and knowledge services.
