President of Beni Suef University inaugurates development works for Faculty of Medicine building, morgue and parasite unit, at a cost of EGP 6 million

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today, the development works of the building of the Faculty of Medicine, the morgue, and the Pathology and Parasitology Unit, at a total cost of 6 million pounds, in the presence of Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the College, Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Director of the Hospital, and a group of faculty members, departments' Heads, assisting body, and students.
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the university has doubled the number of plastic samples for all parts of the body used in anatomy at a cost of 1.4 million pounds, to serve students of the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Medical Science, in addition to students of Medical Informatics Department at the College of Computers, stressing the need to adhere to the precautionary measures to confront Corona virus in order to protect the health of students and faculty members at the college, with a commitment to periodically sterilize and disinfect all auditoriums and laboratories.
Prof. Dr. Atef Morsi added that the new unit contains the best modern devices used in diagnosis to detect parasitic diseases, including the "PCR" device, with the aim of providing a distinguished medical service to all those visiting the university hospital from Beni Suef Governorate and the neighboring governorates.
