Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that a research team from the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences has won an Egyptian-German project for an innovative system of super-batteries for storage by using lithium electrodes Compounded in the organic mineral structures with a value of 200 thousand euros, equivalent to one million and 462 thousand pounds, within the framework of economic development and solutions to energy crises under the umbrella of Egypt's Vision 2030 to provide and store sustainable energy
Dr. Mansour explained that batteries represent the biggest challenge to this development and that the establishment of energy storage technology through which sufficient energy can be provided while driving and support the necessary force for speed while driving, in addition to the efficient use of renewable energy and a long life span in order to increase the production of hybrid electric and electric vehicles which used in Cars industry in a good price and environmentally friendly
The President of Beni Suef University confirmed that the project aims to design of an economic and integrated safe storage device with a high energy density and a long life, and a stable structure and advanced designs that can be developed for a standard model of safe, clean and environmentally friendly hybrid batteries used in various fields and various electronic industries
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian side of the project is represented by researcher Ahmed Gamal El-Din under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Farghaly, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences.
