Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, praised the global equipment of the Institute of Laser Research and Applications which are not available in the surrounding area, claiming the researchers to expand cooperation with scientific and research sectors from inside and outside the university that benefit from laser applications, this was during his inspection tour of the institute this afternoon accompanied by Prof. Dr. Tariq Ali, Dean of the Institute and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Osama El-Gendy, Vice-Dean of the Institute.
The university president visited the modern femtosecond laboratory Mai Tai HP 05 laser, which gives a wide range of different wavelengths starting from 690 to 1040 nm - with a pulse capacity of 100 femtoseconds and a frequency of 80 million pulses per second. and a device HF 100 Femtosecond Laser System, which gives a wider range of wavelengths starting from 340 nanometers (ultraviolet region) to 2500 nanometers (infrared region), pulse amplitude 100 femtoseconds, and frequency of 80 million pulses per second
The university president also visited the nanotechnology laser, where there is the latest version of the Nd: YAG laser and gives three wavelengths of 1064 nanometers (infrared region) - 532 nanometers (visible area) - 355 nanometers (ultraviolet area) and pulse amplitude 10 ns and a frequency of 10 Pulse per second and energy up to 2500 mJ per pulse. In addition to inspecting laser laboratories that were gifted from Stockholm University in Sweden, where there is the Nd: YAG laser and the Dye laser.
