Beni Suef University occupies the third place locally and 201-250 internationally in Times classification for young universities

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that the university has won the third place in the British Time Higher Education classification for 2020 for young universities, after 14 universities were included in this classification.
The President of the University stated that the classification depends on five main indicators that have a number of detailed sub-criteria in the areas of: education; the educational environment by 30%; Research; the volume of published research and the income from scientific research and reputation by 30%; Citations influence the search by 30%; International relations; faculty members, students and research, at 7.5%; Industry income (transfer of knowledge from innovations and patents by 2.5%).
Prof. Dr. Mansour pointed out that the university was distinguished this year by the high number of published researches compared to last year and the high rates of qualitative citations and the increase in the numbers of international students than last year, stressing that the university maintained the same values ??in the international relations standard, in addition to the presence of new colleges and institutes specialized in Inter Sciences and modernity, which led to an increase in the number of faculty members inside the university compared to last year, and an increase in the number of females and their percentage of males in the number of students admitted to the university. Prof. Dr. Mansour praised the efforts of the International Classification Office and the efforts and excellence of researchers.
