President of Beni Suef University: The Institute for Laser Research has obtained two projects worth two million and one hundred thousand pounds

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Institute for Laser Research and its Applications has obtained funding of two projects from the Science, Technology and Innovation  authority in scientific Research Academy of the Ministry of Higher Education
The President of the University pointed out that the first project received a financing worth two million pounds and aims to develop femtosecond laser devices. Dr. Tariq Ali, dean of the institute participated in the project as the principal researcher and a team of researchers are Muhammad Abbas, Ahmed Samir, Mona Ali, Ahmed Haider and Alaa Al Dakkhni
While the second project obtained a funding worth  one hundred thousand pounds, and aims to study the effect of femtosecond lasers on wound healing and the elimination of bacteria that cause wound contamination.
