Beni Suef University Council approves mechanisms for evaluating students for second semester

The Council of Beni Suef University approved in its emergency session No. (183), chaired by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University and in the presence of Vice-Presidents of University and deans of colleges and institutes via video conference, the rules and frameworks for the evaluation of students during the second semester of academic year 2019/2020 under the circumstances of the country, Represented in emerging Corona Virus pandemic.
Prof. Dr. Mansour reviewed what was approved by the Supreme Committee for Examinations headed by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Khaled, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs.
The Council also defined the procedures of research projects " research article, research project, reference search" in each subject so that the topics will be announced on May 7th this year, and the researches will be received starting from May 31st, and the student will be evaluated as (successful or failing) with no effect of these subjects On the student's GPA, while researches are submitted from May 31 to June 15, 2020 and received via university email.
Beni Suef University Council announced that the research papers will be submitted to the control and then sent to the subject professor, and the correction will be started from June 15.
Each college clarifies the components of the research through its own research work guide, while the repeaters and postponed students will have the exam after the suspension of the study being lifted, and international students will be treated in the same treatment as Egyptian students taking into account their circumstances in the event that they are unable to enter the country to perform the exams Due to flight or other conditions.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan announced that written and oral exams will be held for students loaded with subjects (backwardness), after the end of the period of suspension of the study, and clemency rules will be applied to the whole year, and written and oral exams will be held for final year students, after the end of the period of suspension of the study taking into account announcing the dates of these exams, long enough to allow students to prepare for the exams.
