Beni Suef University statement

In response to what was raised on social networking sites, forcing faculty members of university students to buy the university book and threatening them with failing students in the event that the university book is not purchased
The university administration and its president totally reject such slanders and try to reduce the effort made by the faculty and administration of the university and its president in light of these exceptional circumstances the country is going through.
Evidence of the incorrectness of these allegations is as follows:
1- As for the price of the university book, the university asserts that the professor does not leave him to determine the price of the book, but rather that it is done through a committee formed at the beginning of the academic year headed by the vice president of the university for education and students affairs that determines the price of the university book for those who wish to buy it from students and that any publishing house Violation of this pricing is canceled contracting with it and any professor who violates that is referred to investigation with his commitment to return the price difference to the student.
2- All university professors perform their lectures to students via electronic means, whether they are audio or video lectures, or through Power Point.
3- The university council has taken many measures, including canceling the work of the year and mid-term exams, and adding their grades to the second semester exam.
In light of the foregoing, the question is whether it is conceivable, rationally and logically, to compel students to buy the book, while the professor allows them to book this through audio, visual or readable means in addition to canceling the work of the year and midterm exams.
     In addition to all of the foregoing, the President of the University affirms that the University will take legal measures towards everyone who proves that he is entitled to this.
The University of Beni Suef and its president call upon everyone to seek accuracy in all that is spread and lack of coordination behind the rumors in order to avoid confusion and disturb the community in light of the exceptional difficult circumstances experienced by the entire international community.
