Registration of Beni Suef University as major publisher in Arab Publishers Union and the National Book House

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the registration of university as a major publisher in the Union of Arab Publishers and the National Book House. This was during his presidency of the meeting of Higher Committee for Supervising Scientific Journals in the presence of Prof. Dr. Badr Nabih, University Vice President for Community Service Sector and the Financial and Legal Adviser, Dr. Maha Ahmed, Unit Director and Dr. Mumtaz Hijab, General Coordinator of Divisions and new Programs.
During the meeting, the University President reviewed a report on a training workshop entitled "A system for managing scientific journals available on Knowledge Bank" to train members of editorial boards on the electronic management of magazine's website and the process of controlling and publishing it, and discussed the university's support mechanisms for its journals to become international journals with a high impact factor.
The meeting also discussed the report of accreditation of the Supreme Council of Universities for scientific journals issued at the university, and the steps to amend the unified administrative and financial regulations for the refereed scientific journals issued by the university and colleges and affiliated institutes.
