Beni Suef University participates in the international charitable marathon for Magdy Yacoub Heart Center

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the university’s participation in the international charitable marathon activities organized by Magdi Yaqoub Heart Center, which aims to raise awareness of heart disease and human health.
This was during the chairmanship of the Board of Directors meeting of the Center of Development of Environmental Preservation, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Badr Nabih, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and the financial advisor, Dr. Wael Saad El-Sayed, Director of the Center, and Dr. Walaa Abdel Rahman Moselhi, Vice Dean of the College of Advanced Studies for Advanced Science.
Prof. Dr. Mansour indicated that the university places priority on environmental issues in its research plan to maximize the role of scientific research in solving environmental problems.
During the meeting, a discussion was made on creating an electronic page for the center to display news, events and activities related to it, and to provide a means of communication for the center, which in turn contributes to raising the university's classification in the environmental affairs.
The University President added that several proposals were discussed, including a proposal to prevent the use of plastic materials such as bags, packages and plastic cups within the university and to provide suggested alternatives such as paper bags and reuse of fabric bags, which are more efficient and less expensive.
