Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, stated that the university has a strategic plan for digital transformation, which is a pioneering experience at the level of universities. The University of Beni Suef is the first at the level of Egyptian universities in obtaining a ministerial decision for the unit of software development and digital transformation, and all that has been done Produce programs and digitization efforts of the university's children.
The University is also pioneering the creation of the first Center for Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems at the university level, which has signed a cooperation agreement with the international SAS Foundation and a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence, data science, training and consulting.
 Dr. Mansour said that according to the plan, the digital identity was circulated to the university’s council, then the councils for education and students affairs, community service, environmental development, graduate studies and research at the university level.
It has now also been applied to faculty councils and is being implemented on agency councils and for all scientific departments.
 Stressing that this comes in the framework of the university's permanent and continuous endeavor to transform into a smart electronic university, adding that the university has carried out an institutional development process to reach an integrated and harmonious way to a real and sustainable digital transformation.
 The President of the University stressed that the implementation of the strategic plan will work to change the basic components related to the performance of work, starting from the infrastructure and access to all functional areas in order to create capabilities to take full advantage of the capabilities and opportunities of new technologies and then work to reorganize and complete the business in an innovative and flexible way and to reduce many stages to organizing Work and implementation of the priorities of development programs provided by the state.
It is worth noting that Beni Suef University has the leadership in designing and activating the electronic collection service for expenses and services in an integrated institutional manner, which has led to an increase in the efficiency of collection operations, saving student time and effort and eliminating treasury queues.
