The study dealt with UNESCO as an intergovernmental organization in terms of its origin and history, with a focus on the International Institute for Intellectual Cooperation of the League of Nations, and then dealing with UNESCO and its special attention to libraries and information through two stages, starting with the establishment of the organization until 1967 and the second from 1967 to 1976, PGI also discussed the development and relationship of the program with previous Natis and the Consist, and then tackled the five objectives of the program and its activities in order to reach it.
