Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan during meeting with President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi at the Supreme Council of Universities

Today, President / Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi met with the Supreme Council of Universities in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Universities and Heads of state universities.
After the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, took part in the 6th National Youth Conference at Cairo University under the patronage of President / Abdel Fattah El Sisi, with the participation of 3,000 Egyptian Universities Youth, scientists and researchers, making it the largest national conference in terms of attendance.
 It is worth mentioning that President / Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi confirmed during the meeting the importance of universities role in building Egyptian youth personality, pointing out its central role in the framework of the comprehensive development process currently taking place in Egypt.

The President also confirmed the importance of universities role in improving the level of university students and developing their morals, considering universities as an extension of school and Egyptian home, as well as forming awareness among students, instilling national values ??and belonging, and qualifying them to complete the march of national work and educating youth about the dangers and challenges faced by Egypt.

The President also stressed the role of university professor as a role model for students and youth and one of the main factors in the development of their scientific and cultural talents and help them cope with the rapid changes and developments taking place in the world in the current era.

The President reviewed the State's strategy during the coming period for developing   the Egyptian people, pointing out that developing education and health sectors is a top priority for this strategy. He stressed in this context the State's support to Egyptian universities and various educational institutions in Egypt in their efforts to develop and use the best methods and modern educational curricula for the benefit of the Egyptian people.
The President stressed the need to focus on scientific research in light of its main role in meeting state's needs in the coming period, as the basis for sustainable development
