President of Beni-Suef University Chairs the Meeting of the Center for Production and Student Services

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, chaired today the meeting of the Center for Production and Student Services, in the presence of Dr. Shaaban Mowarez, Financial Advisor; Dr. Nermin Atef, General Supervisor of the Production Center; Mr. Mohamed Seleim, University Secretary-General; and members of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Tarek Ali began the meeting by reviewing the Center’s achievements, noting that several exhibitions had been organized to provide essential goods to students and university staff at reduced prices, in cooperation with the National Service Projects Organization. A total of 12 exhibitions were held on various occasions, in addition to providing dairy products and supplying them to the university dormitories, as well as offering beverages and meals to students through the cafeterias.
He added that the green area and the restaurant had been opened for students, faculty members, and staff, with subsidized meals provided to students through a voucher system. Distinguished and subsidized services were also made available to students of both Beni-Suef University and Beni-Suef National University. He further noted that the restaurant and green area at the Guest House in East Nile were now operational, emphasizing the focus on strengthening partnerships with the National Service Projects Organization to ensure that the largest possible number of students benefit.
The University President also highlighted a set of future goals for the Center, including the expansion of restaurant operations, as well as bakery and production services, at the 330-feddan complex in the Guest House. He added that work is underway to implement the provisions of the regulation approved by the Ministry of Finance regarding student training, with an emphasis on organizing training courses in cooperation with relevant faculties, such as Tourism and Hotels, Agriculture, and Veterinary Medicine.
