Launching of the National Education Program for Females at Beni Suef University

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the activities of the National Education courses for females in the university’s faculties were launched. The courses are organized by the Military Education Department under the supervision of Colonel Khaled Nabil Ibrahim, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, and coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel Taha Matar. The aim is to instill a spirit of loyalty, belonging and love of the homeland among female students. This was attended by Brigadier General Mohamed El-Barai, Military Advisor to Beni Suef Governorate, and Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, amid a remarkable presence of female students.
The events were opened with a speech by Brigadier General Mohamed El-Barai, congratulating the people of Beni Suef on the National Day of the Governorate. He referred in his speech to the consolidation of the spirit of loyalty and belonging, and directed a number of tips and instructions to the students to benefit from during these events. Then, Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy trained the participating female students of the university on the basics of life saving and the principles of first aid, pointing out the importance of every individual in society knowing these principles in order to try to save the injured person after any accident until specialized medical care arrives. She addressed the principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, choking, bleeding, fractures, burns, poisoning, fainting and coma.
