“Ramadan: A Time for Work and Worship” – Religious Seminar at Beni Suef University’s Faculty of Al-Alsun

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Al-Alsun organized a religious seminar titled “Ramadan: A Time for Work and Worship.” The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Fatma Ashour, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Reda Mohamed Abdel-Halim Mohamed, Director-General of the Beni Suef Preaching Department and Chairman of the Fatwa Committee at Al-Azhar in Beni Suef, in the presence of faculty members and students.
The discussion covered the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, how to prepare for and embrace it, and the importance of consistent worship and devotion. Topics included fasting, prayer, night prayers (Qiyam al-Layl), maintaining family ties, giving charity, and supporting the less fortunate. The speaker also emphasized the need for diligence and sincerity in one’s professional and personal responsibilities.
At the end of the session, an open discussion was held, allowing attendees to ask questions and seek clarifications on religious matters.
