Beni Suef Faculty of Arts hosts the meeting of the Egyptian Climate Committee

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Arts hosted the meeting of the Egyptian Climate Committee, in the presence of representatives from 18 Egyptian universities and members and rapporteurs of the Scientific Committee for the specialization of Geography and Climate, under the supervision of Dr. Mahrous Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty.
The university president pointed out that a symposium on climate change and sustainable development was held .It addressed important topics, including evaluating the use of building roofs in agriculture, and generating solar energy to adapt to climate change. It also discussed the problems resulting from climate change, the role of individuals in confronting climate change, and the role of institutions in helping the state overcome climate change.
