Beni Suef University ranked second rank locally in engineering and technology and third rank in life sciences according to the British Times classification

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university obtained the second rank among Egyptian universities in the field of engineering and technology and 501-600 globally. The university also obtained the third rank locally and 601-800 globally in each of life sciences - medical and health sciences and physical sciences.
The university president explained that the classification is based on five main indicators, including a number of detailed sub-criteria in the fields of: education , educational environment, published scientific research, income from scientific research, academic reputation, qualitative citations; international relations, faculty members, students, research,  industry income , knowledge transfer from innovations and patents).
Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of the Center for International Classification and Sustainable Development, pointed out that the presence of new colleges and specialized institutes greatly helped in producing distinguished research, noting that this classification came as a result of the efforts of researchers at the university and the implementation of the university’s plan aimed at advancing scientific research and encouraging researchers to publish internationally.
