President of Beni Suef University witnesses the activities of the 82nd cultural symposium to develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging among young people

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today the activities of the 82nd cultural symposium to develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging among the university's youth, organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces at the university's Grand Celebration Hall, in the presence of Major General / Osama Abdel Hamid Mohamed Daoud, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Major General / Mohamed Ali Othman, Assistant Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces for Universities, Brigadier General / Mohamed Samir Ammar, Military Advisor to Beni Suef Governorate, Colonel / Ahmed Moussa, Director of the Military Education Department, and a group of leaders of the Armed Forces, security leaders, the House of Representatives and the Senate, leaders of civil society, Al-Azhar and the Church, among a large number of faculty members and students.
The symposium activities included a documentary film about the university, a play by the university theater team about the importance of loyalty to the homeland, a poetry segment, a singing segment by the university choir, and a lecture by Dr. Ghada Amer entitled "Creating an Innovative Environment". During his speech, the university president welcomed the guests, stressing that the symposium aims to build and shape national awareness among young people, and to consolidate the values ??of loyalty and belonging to the homeland, by hosting an elite group of specialists in various fields, to confront all attempts to confuse thought and falsify awareness sought by the enemies of the homeland, appreciating the role played by the Popular Defense Forces in protecting the country's internal front and supporting the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the various sectors of Egypt's university sons, which calls on us all to be proud of this important sector of the great armed forces. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the university's mission is not limited to providing knowledge, but that the university has an enlightening role in building awareness, enlightening young people about various issues, and protecting their minds against any attempts to attract extremist thought, through education with correct knowledge, discovering talents, refining capabilities, encouraging innovation, urging students to have good values ??in their behavior, and developing values ??of loyalty and allegiance to the homeland. All of this is a priority for university education. He stressed the university's keenness to implement many activities that help students discover and develop their talents and capabilities in various fields, which achieves one of the most important goals of Egypt's vision plan for sustainable development as one of the basic pillars of development, by spreading its culture and supporting scientific research and linking it to education and development, within the framework of the directives of His Excellency President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who always emphasizes building the human being and the importance of investing in human resources, especially young people. For his part, Major General Osama Abdel Hamid, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, conveyed; Greetings from Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Sakr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, expressing his pride and honor to be among his sons and daughters, students, who represent the signs of a bright tomorrow and a promising future, and Egypt has great hopes for them in building the new republic.
The Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces stressed that the Egyptian state has become more stable and steadfast, and its capabilities have developed with the efforts of its sons, with the vision of the enlightened political leadership in dealing with priority files and issues, and with an integrated institutional perspective in managing the affairs of the country, pointing out that the great Egyptian people were and still are the center of the state's confidence and the wall of defense against attempts to destabilize stability, calling for working as one man behind its political leadership.
He pointed out that the main goal of organizing the symposium is to confront thought with thought and to fortify all segments of society, especially our young people, and to protect them from false ideas and destructive beliefs through correct perception and awareness against the threats that threaten Egyptian security.
At the end of the symposium, shields were exchanged, and a number of martyrs’ families were honored, in addition to a number of students with special needs.
