President of Beni Suef University participates in the closing ceremony of "Tamkeen" initiative at Hatshepsut Temple in Luxor

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, participated in the closing ceremony of the first edition of the "Tamkeen" initiative for people with disabilities, which was held at the Temple of Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari, west of Luxor, with the participation of 562 male and female students from various Egyptian universities. This was under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a number of ministers and senior public figures.
Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the "Tamkeen" initiative, which was launched under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, contributed to a qualitative shift in supporting the rights and integration of students with disabilities into the university community. He praised this initiative as a pioneering step towards raising awareness of the issues of people with disabilities and ensuring their effective participation in various university activities, noting that Beni Suef University pays great attention to integrating these students and providing them with a comprehensive and integrated educational environment.
The "Tamkeen" initiative is one of the major national initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to empower people with disabilities and integrate them into the university community, in line with the directives of the political leadership and the state’s plans to achieve justice and equality for all members of society. The closing ceremony witnessed a distinguished participation from Beni Suef University, in the presence of Dr. Haitham Nagi, Director of the University Center for Services for Students with Disabilities, and Ms. Olfat Al-Sharif, Deputy Director of the Center.
