First aid for poisoning cases, a seminar at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, Beni Suef University

The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized a symposium on first aid for poisoning cases. This is at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Nagi Mohsen, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Mai Raslan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The symposium was lectured by Dr. Israa Hamdy, Lecturer of Surgical Internal Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing.
The symposium addressed the causes and types of poisoning, including bacterial, chemical and drug poisoning, as well as poisoning resulting from stings or bites, such as dog bites, snake bites or scorpion bites. The symposium also addressed first aid procedures to preserve the life of the injured person and reduce complications until the injured person is transferred to the hospital to receive specialized treatment.
