President of Beni Suef University chairs the meeting of the University Performance Development Center

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the University Performance Development Center No. 55, in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abeer Moawad, Director of the Center, and members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting reviewed a detailed report on the center’s achievements, which included the announcement of the Egyptian-Japanese Education Initiative for master’s and doctoral students, following up on students from the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology who received scholarships in the initiative’s program, participating in the “How to Prepare Competitive Research Projects” workshop, and begin updating the database of missionaries returning from abroad starting in 2005, and correspond with them in cooperation with the International Classification Office.
The achievements also included a proposal for a program to develop specialized research skills for faculty members and supporting staff, with the participation of researchers returning from abroad to conduct scientific training courses in their fields for the benefit of faculty members who did not have the opportunity to travel.
