Beni Suef National University announces the results of the Holy Quran and Hadiths Competition “The Forty Nawawi”

Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, announced today the results of the Holy Qur’an and Hadith Competition, “The Forty Nawawi,” which was organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare in cooperation with the Beni Suef Endowments Directorate and the Student Union in the period between February 18-20, With the participation of 135 male and female students across all programmes, under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Dawoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Sherif Mamdouh, Student Activities Coordinator, Mr.Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, and Mr.Mohamed Farouk, General Director of Youth Welfare.
  For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university is keen on diversifying student activities to include cultural, sporting, religious and artistic activities, and that religious activities  contribute to discovering students’ talents and deepening awareness of the importance of memorizing the Holy Qur’an, as well as consolidating religious and social values and beliefs among students, pointing out that the competition came in the framework for educating students and developing awareness, and included different levels, where the first level included memorizing the entire Qur’an, the second level half of the Qur’an, and the third level a third of the Qur’an. The university president also congratulated the winning students and thanked all the participants, those in charge of the competition, the judging committee, and the coordinators for their efforts and encouraging the students to participate in various activities and events.
The results of the Holy Qur’an Competition, the first level, were that the student Al-Sarraa Adel Abdullah won first place in the College of Computers and Information, the student Habiba Abdel Rahman Ahmed in the College of Nursing won second place, the student Shorouk Ahmed Hamdi in the College of Pharmacy won third place, the student Shahd Muhammad Ashour in the College of Pharmacy won fourth place, and the student Kholoud Muhammad Rabie ,College of Pharmacy, won fifth place.
While the second level recorded the victory of the student Fatma Jaber Muhammad, College of Science, in first place, the student Shorouk Sayed Abdel Latif, College of Nursing, in second place, the student Wissam Abdel Hamid Salama, College of Physical Therapy, in third place, the student Nada Hossam Mustafa, in fourth place, College of Human Medicine, and the student Arwa Essam Yahya, College of Physical Therapyin fifth place.
In the third level, the student, Alaa Muhammad Mahmoud, College of Human Medicine, won first place, the student, Ahmed Jamal Abdel Salam, College of Mass Communication, won second place, the student, Ahmed Nabil Ahmed, College of Dentistry, won third place, and the student, Zahra Al-Numairi Muhammad, College of Nursing, won fourth place.
While the Hadiths Competition recorded the victory of the student Abdul Rahman Khairy Muhammad, Faculty of Pharmacy, in first place, the student Aya Abdul Salam Rajab, Faculty of Computers and Information, in second place, the student Asma Muslim Orabi, Faculty of Physical Therapy, in third place, the student Ahmed Omar Fathi, Faculty of Nursing, in fourth place, and the student Rahma Abdel Azim Muhammad, in the Fifth place , and student Fatma Jaber Muhammad, College of Science, ranked fifth (bis).
