Beni Suef National University five-a-side football league begins with the participation of 32 teams

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, announced today, Saturday, the start of the Beni Suef National University Five-a-Side Football League, with the participation of 32 teams representing all university faculties. The league will continue until December 6th. The tournament is supervised by Dr. Sahar Dawood, the Academic Vice President of the National university, and Dr. Sherif Mamdouh, Student Activities Coordinator.
The University President emphasized the significance of sports activities in fostering a balanced personality for students, discovering and developing their talents, and utilizing their potentials in beneficial and productive ways. Additionally, they aim to equip them with additional skills that would assist in their practical and academic lives, such as fostering teamwork spirit and enhancing a sense of collective work. Moreover, focusing on raising awareness and sports culture among students, nurturing gifted students, and working to enhance their technical and skill levels.
Prof. Dr. Mansour highlighted an accompanying campaign titled "Participate and Engage" aims at raising awareness among students about the importance of active participation in presidential elections as a national duty and one of the most vital constitutional rights of citizens. Such participation holds an impact on shaping the present and future within a framework of democracy and complete freedom.
