Beni Suef University is one of the top 200 universities globally and third locally in veterinary sciences, pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences in the Shanghai classification.

  Dr. Mansour, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university ranked 101-150 globally in veterinary sciences, achieving third place locally, and ranked 151-200 globally in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, also achieving third place locally in the Shanghai International Classification. It also obtained Ranking 201-300 globally in the field of agricultural sciences, achieving eighth place locally
The university president added that the Shanghai classification depends on a number of indicators and standards in classifying universities, including the number of research published in international journals, the specific citation rate for each branch, the percentage of research published in collaboration with international researchers, the number of research published in international conferences, as well as the number of faculty members who obtained international awards
Dr. Samaa Al-Daq, Director of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office, added that the classification this year achieved remarkable growth compared to last year, as a result of the efforts of researchers in international publishing and the encouragement of the University President and the Ministry of Higher Education through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank
