Beni Suef University organizes a “First Aid” course in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, and under the patronage of Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbag, Minister of Social Solidarity, the Social Solidarity Unit at Beni Suef University organized a “First Aid” course at the Faculty of Education for two days, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hammad Hindi, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahnasawy, Vice Dean of the College for Environmental Service and Development Affairs, and Dr. Salah Ahmed Hashem, Advisor of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and General Coordinator of the Social Solidarity Unit at Universities, in the presence of first aid training officials from the Egyptian Red Crescent in Beni Suef, and members of the Egyptian Red Crescent Authority, Teachingmembers, employees and students.
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the aim of these courses is to provide university students with the information and skills related to first aid, which are necessary to deal with emergency situations. The course activities began with a symposium on safety and security applications and many aspects of first aid, including; Artificial respiration, fainting, how to act during accidents, transporting injured people, heart attack, sudden airway obstruction, cardiac resuscitation, breathing, wounds, bleeding, burns, fractures, fainting, coma, convulsions, poisoning and how to resuscitate the heart, in addition to first aid for emergency cases for individuals that may occur in the work environment and how to deal with them safely.
