A research team at the College of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology wins the “NASA Space” competition

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that a research team from the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology won among the ten winning teams at the national level in the NASA Space Apps Cairo competition, which was organized by the Scientific Organization of Electrical and Electronics Engineers at the American University in Cairo, in a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Innovators and Geniuses Fund, and in cooperation with the National Authority of Telecommunications Regulatory and the American Embassy in Cairo The team included student Muhammad Mahmoud Al-Sayed Harhash and student Imad Atef Helmy Khalil in the third year of the college.
For his part, the President of the University congratulated the winning team, stressing the importance of scientific competitions in promoting the spirit of innovation and training in entrepreneurship, as well as refining the personality and talents of students, and developing their mental abilities, praising all the efforts made by the Innovators and Geniuses Fund in supporting students’ creative abilities in all fields that serve development purposes in Egypt It is worth noting that the NASA Space Apps Cairo competition is a global technological event that includes innovative students and thinkers to compete in order to find solutions to real challenges related to the environment, Earth, and space, posed by NASA, noting that the competition activities took place among 151 teams out of 350.they were filtered into ten winning teams across Egypt.
