Today, during its 225th session, the Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, honored the work team participating in the competition for the best environmentally friendly university for the effort made and for the university receiving an incentive award (fourth place) at the level of Egyptian universities, as it is an emerging university that includes several... The honors included Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Tariq Ali, Supervisor of Competition Preparations, Vice President of the University for post Graduate Studies, Dr. Abeer Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center, Dr. Samaa Al-Daq, Director of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Najjar, Deputy Director. of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office, Dr. Fatima Ibrahim, Dr. Osama Muhammad Abdel Hamid, Dr. Loua Ramadan Hamida, Muhammad Arafa Ali, members of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office

The University President congratulated the participating team and the university family, including faculty members, supporting staff, students and workers, and stressed the importance of the university campus being environmentally friendly, stressing the university’s keenness to pay attention to various environmental issues, especial the issues 
 that related to climate change, and integrating the environmental dimension into student, cultural and artistic activities throughout the year to achieve environmental preservation and sustainability
