The President of Beni Suef University chairs the meeting of the Faculty of Commerce Council and emphasizes its pivotal role in serving the university.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired today the meeting of the Faculty of Commerce Council, in the presence of Dr. Eid Abu Bakr, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mervat Hussein, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Student Affairs, Dr. Hamed El-Senousi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies, Dr. Soha Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service, Dr. Shaaban Mubarak, Financial Advisor, in addition to the members
of the Council.

The meeting was held to review the progress of academic and administrative work at the college and to discuss future development plans in line with the university's vision of enhancing quality and excellence in higher education, scientific research, and community service.

The university president opened the meeting by commending the vital role of the College of Commerce as one of the university's long-established colleges, which contributes effectively to supporting the educational and administrative system.

He affirmed that the college boasts a distinguished administrative staff with extensive experience and high competence, contributing to tangible achievements in both academic and administrative performance. He emphasized that these individuals represent a fundamental pillar in the university's journey toward progress and competitiveness.

The university president also commended the efforts of the college dean, vice deans, faculty members, and staff in enhancing the educational process and developing the work environment within the college. He stressed the importance of continuing this constructive approach, which positively impacts students, graduates, and the university's reputation both locally and internationally.

The university president urged the college council to develop modern interdisciplinary programs that keep pace with the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market, and are in line with the state’s directions in linking education outputs to the needs of sustainable development, explaining that expanding interdisciplinary specializations is a strategic step to enhance the ability of graduates to compete in various sectors, especially in the fields of digital economy and modern management.

The Faculty Council presented Dr. Tarek Ali with the Professional Master's Shield for the 2025 and 2026 graduating classes, in recognition of his efforts in supporting the Professional Master's program at the Faculty.
