Acting President of Beni Suef University Announces the Launch of the Olympic Swimming Pool, Built to International Standards, in Mid-June

Professor Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the commencement of operations at the university’s Olympic swimming pool, which has been designed and equipped according to international standards. The facility will be managed by Nile Blessings for Scientific Consultations, a university-affiliated company, and will begin welcoming citizens and the general public starting in mid-June. The swimming pool is located at the Faculty of Sports Sciences within the 330-Feddan Campus in East Nile.
The Acting President emphasized that the opening and operation of the facility represent an important strategic step toward providing integrated sports facilities that serve all segments of the Beni Suef community, in addition to faculty members, students, and university staff. He noted that the facility offers families and young people an excellent opportunity to engage in sports activities within a disciplined and advanced educational environment.
Professor Tarek Ali further affirmed the university’s commitment to maximizing the utilization of its distinguished sports facilities and providing high-quality community and sports services to the people of Beni Suef Governorate. He pointed out that the university’s role extends beyond education and scientific research to encompass comprehensive community development and the enhancement of sports infrastructure, contributing to the preparation of a healthy and promising generation capable of excelling and competing at local and international sporting events.
Professor Nermeen Atef, Executive Director of Nile Blessings Company, stated that the Olympic swimming pool features the highest technical specifications and modern equipment, providing a safe and suitable environment for swimming and athletic training for all age groups. She added that the facility adheres to the highest standards of safety, quality, sanitation, and advanced filtration systems to ensure the health and well-being of swimmers, children, youth, and adults, while offering an exceptional sporting experience.
Professor El-Husseiny Farag, Technical Director of the swimming pool, explained that details regarding operating hours, subscription fees, and training programs available for all skill levels will be announced soon, with the aim of facilitating procedures and organizing schedules to accommodate all categories of users.
