Workshop on "Preparing Course Descriptions"

The Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Beni Suef University had a distinguished presence at the "Preparing academic Course Descriptions" workshop.

As part of Beni Suef University’s commitment to developing the educational process and enhancing quality standards, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, a delegation from the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence participated in the activities of the specialized workshop entitled “Preparing Course Descriptions According to Updated Models,” which was organized by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the University Administration Building.

The following names lectured at the workshop:

Prof. Dr. Heba Atef El-Shimy – Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the University

Prof. Dr. Maha Abdel-Qawi – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine for Environmental Affairs and Community Service

The Faculty was represented at this workshop by:

Dr. Amira Mohi El-Din Mohamed El-Mandouh – Deputy Director of the Quality Department

Eng. Fatima – Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science Department

The workshop addressed a number of important topics, most notably how to prepare course descriptions according to updated models, and formulate target learning outcomes (CLOs) in accordance with national reference standards, in order to improve the quality of the educational process and its outputs.

This participation comes as part of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence’s commitment to supporting the university’s efforts to achieve academic excellence and improve the quality system.
