The World AIDS Day event was launched at the Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Professor Dr. Hanan El-Zabalawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Professor Dr. Sherine El-Sayed Sherif, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, headed by Associate Professor Dr. Iman Mohamed, Head of the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, and coordinator of the celebration, Associate Professor Dr. Mona Mohamed Ibrahim, organized a celebration of World AIDS Day on Monday, December 15, 2025. The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students. It began with the national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran and religious chants.
