College of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence won first place in the sixth Olympiad for the Computer Science and Information Technology Sector

With the support of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Beni Suef University, won first place in the Sixth Olympiad for the Computer Science and Information Technology Sector, which was held at Damietta and Delta Universities for Science and Technology on July 15-16, 2024 under the title: "Made in Egypt: Innovative Technology to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals."

The 6th Olympiad for Computer Science and Informatics is the largest gathering for healthy competition for all faculties of computers and artificial intelligence at the level of all Egyptian public and private universities. This year's competition was held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, at Damietta University and Delta University for Science and Technology, where more than 80 projects from more than 30 public and private universities were submitted this year

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed his constant keenness to participate in such competitions in order to implement the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to advance this field in order to achieve the sustainable development goals of Egypt's Vision 2030. The Dean of the College also congratulated the winning team and thanked all four teams that participated in the Olympiad and competed honorably. He also stressed the need to give credit to the College administration, faculty members, assistants and workers who spared no effort to provide the educational process well
