Beni Suef University President Inaugurates Two New Dental Clinics to Serve the Local Community at a Cost of 5.5 Million EGP

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today two new dental clinics at the Faculty of Dentistry to serve the local community, as part of the university’s role in enhancing healthcare services for citizens in Beni Suef, at a total cost of 5.5 million EGP. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Fathallah, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Maha Abdel Qawy, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hakim, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Nabil, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies; and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University.
The University President explained that the two clinics include 28 dental units, bringing the total number of specialized clinics within the faculty to nine, with 136 dental units in total. The clinics also feature a high-quality sterilization room and an advanced air compressor room, which facilitate the efficient completion of cases. He highlighted that the expansion of dental clinics within the university represents an important step in serving the community, providing specialized healthcare to the residents of Beni Suef and neighboring governorates.
He added that the clinics offer a practical training environment for dental students, enhancing their professional skills and giving them direct experience in handling real cases. The presence of these clinics reinforces the university’s role as an educational and research institution with a strong community service mission, integrating academic education with public service.
Dr. Ahmed Fathallah noted that the clinics are equipped with the latest medical devices and technologies according to the highest international standards, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the faculty’s commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services, positioning the university as a leading center combining academic education and community service.
During the visit, the University President also inspected the “Little Smiles” clinic, which is planned to open after the completion of its preparations. This clinic is specialized in serving children with special needs and includes operating rooms, recovery rooms, and sterilization facilities.
Dr. Ahmed Fathallah honored Dr. Tarek Ali, University President, and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, in recognition of their significant efforts in inaugurating the two clinics and supporting the faculty.
