As part of Beni Suef University's strategy to support scientific research and international publication In prestigious scientific journals, Professor Dr. Tarek, the university president, approved the disbursement of research publication bonuses for research published during 2022, to be paid from the university's budget

Professor Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center, affirmed that the university views international publication as a key indicator of research quality and an effective tool for enhancing academic reputation and improving international rankings. She noted that the university's research incentive policies are linked to standards of quality, scientific impact, and citations

For his part, Professor Yasser Fleih, Director of the International Publishing Office, explained that the university is increasingly focused on publishing in internationally ranked journals, given its pivotal role in knowledge transfer, building international research partnerships, and increasing opportunities for scientific collaboration and external funding. He emphasized that the publishing support system aims to enhance the quality of research output, not just its quantity. This announcement comes as part of Beni Suef University's commitment to establishing a culture of distinguished international publishing and stimulating healthy competition among its faculties, thereby contributing to achieving research leadership, supporting the state's sustainable development plans, and strengthening the university's position at both the regional and international levels
