Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that 40,171 citizens have been received at Beni Suef University hospitals This was during the month of January, where 24,000 outpatients were recorded, 11,192 emergency cases, and the number of inpatients was recorded at 2,585 (admission to various hospital departments and care units), 1,565 visitors to the specialized center, and 829 operations were performed in various specialties, as these figures reflect the increasing demand for the medical services provided

The university president explained that these statistics reflect the growing confidence in the quality of health services provided, and confirm the efforts made to meet citizens' health needs efficiently and with a rapid response. He stressed that work is proceeding at full speed to develop the services provided at the university hospital to serve citizens, and to reduce the number of waiting cases within the framework of the hospital's role in serving the Suwaifi community, which contributes to improving the level of medical services provided and easing the burdens on citizens

In a related context, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, pointed out that the college administration is working hard in cooperation with the university to improve the level of performance and raise the efficiency of work within the departments in order to ensure the provision of medical service at the highest level, and that the development plan includes updating medical equipment, increasing capacity, and providing safe and effective medical care to all visitors
