The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University organizes training courses to improve the efficiency of "health insurance" nursing in the governorate.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of the university's leading community role towards "Egypt's White Army" The Faculty of Nursing organized specialized training courses for nursing staff at the Beni Suef Health Insurance Hospital, which took place over two days from January 25th to 27th. This initiative was supervised by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hanan El-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Sherine Sherif, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development
Dr. Tariq Ali, the university president, stated that these courses come as a confirmation of the university’s strategy to support the health sector and develop nursing staff as a key partner in the medical system, noting that the training included five important scientific and practical axes aimed at raising the efficiency of nursing staff in order to ensure the provision of distinguished medical service to the people of the governorate and avoid health complications in emergency cases
The university president added that this fruitful cooperation with the General Authority for Health Insurance reflects the concerted efforts of state institutions to improve the healthcare system. He emphasized that Beni Suef University spares no effort in harnessing all its academic and training capabilities to serve the Beni Suef community. He also stressed the importance of continuing medical education and keeping abreast of the latest treatment protocols, considering investment in human capital and the development of nursing skills as the true guarantee for achieving a significant leap in the level of medical care provided to citizens
For her part, Dr. Hanan El-Zablawy explained that the training program was characterized by its diversity and comprehensiveness. Dr. Israa Hamdy covered first aid and life-saving basics, while Dr. Hala Ali reviewed effective communication skills and their importance in patient care. Dr. Emad Abdel-Halim also provided a detailed explanation of the triage system for assessing emergency cases and prioritizing treatment to ensure optimal resource utilization
Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawi also thanked the lecturers for their efforts. Dr. Abeer Badawi explained how to manage cases of angina, while Dr. Jamila Mohammed discussed the causes and types of coma and methods of prevention. The training program concluded with a discussion and Q&A session for the attending nursing staff, who praised the valuable scientific insights gained from the topics presented and expressed their hope for the continuation of such fruitful initiatives
