President of Beni Suef University receives the Deputy Minister of Health for Population and Family Development Affairs and the accompanying delegation to discuss ways of cooperation.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, received today Dr. Abla El-Alfy, Deputy Minister of Health for Population and Family Development Affairs and Supervisor
The supervisor of the National Population Council for Beni Suef Governorate attended the meeting, which aimed to strengthen cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Health and Population on issues related to public health, family development, and building community awareness in the presence of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of Beni Suef University Hospitals and Head of the Doctors' Syndicate in the governorate; Dr. Hanan El-Zablawi, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Mr. Mohamed Selim, General Secretary of the University; Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; and the heads of the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Neonatology departments
The delegation included Dr. Hani Gomaa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef; Mr. Ahmed Khairy, Assistant to the Deputy Minister for Operations; Mr. Mohamed Mokhtar, Director of the Deputy Minister's Office; and Dr. Mervat Fouad, Head of the Central Administration for Family Development
The University President began the meeting by welcoming the Deputy Minister, emphasizing that Beni Suef University is committed to supporting national initiatives aimed at improving population characteristics and promoting reproductive health and family development through its educational, research, and community service roles. He also indicated the university's readiness to dedicate its scientific and research capabilities, as well as those of its medical faculties, to participate in implementing joint awareness and training programs
For her part, Dr. Abla Al-Alfi conveyed the greetings of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, to the President of the University and all its members, expressing her appreciation for the role of Beni Suef University as an active academic institution in supporting the state’s efforts in the population file, stressing the importance of partnership with universities in spreading health awareness, and preparing qualified cadres capable of contributing to achieving the goals of the National Population and Family Development Strategy
At the conclusion of the visit, the two sides exchanged commemorative shields in appreciation of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to improve the health system and family development, and in recognition of the enlightening and academic role played by Beni Suef University in serving the nation’s issues, and as an expression of the deep bonds of fruitful cooperation and mutual appreciation between the two institutions, which contribute in a leading way to serving the community and achieving the goals of sustainable development
