Beni Suef University: Global research expansion in the most prestigious universities in Europe, America and Asia for 2025

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the annual report issued by the Cultural Relations Department The Department of Cultural and Scientific Relations for 2025 announced an unprecedented expansion in the scientific destinations visited by faculty members and assistant staff, which included the most prestigious universities and research centers in Europe, North America, and Asia, as part of the university’s strategy to enhance its international standing and raise the efficiency of its research staff
Dr. Tarek Ali stated that this international expansion reflects the extent of scientific development that the university has reached, stressing that our researchers in the Faculties of Science and Advanced Science Graduate Studies have secured seats in major European institutions such as Imperial College London, ranked among the best in the world, and University College London (UCL), in addition to the universities of Exeter, Bristol, Leeds, and Manchester Metropolitan in the United Kingdom, is a source of pride for the Egyptian educational system
The university president noted that the destinations were not limited to the United States, but extended to Germany, which consider hub for scientific research, where university researchers have been to the prestigious Max Planck Institute and the universities of Cologne and Mannheim. The European map also included the University of Vienna in Austria, the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, the University of Helsinki in Finland, and the Institute of Applied Physics in Italy, in addition to a significant presence at Hungarian universities such as the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the University of Pécs

The report confirmed the existence of strategic partnerships with North America, where researchers from the faculties of veterinary , pharmacy, science, and physical therapy were sent to the United States and Canada
The American destinations included prestigious universities such as Michigan State, Washington State, Northwestern, Texas, Maryland, the Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky, and Washington St. Louis University. In Canada, the universities of Calgary, Waterloo, and Alberta welcomed the university's researchers to complete their studies and research

For his part, the university president affirmed that these missions and assignments were distinguished by the diversity of academic disciplines, as they included the faculties of: ( Medicine, Veterinary , Science, Pharmacy, Law, Dentistry, Languages, Physical Therapy, Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, Technology and Education). He added that the purposes varied between obtaining master's and doctoral degrees, joint supervision, special scientific missions for post-doctoral studies, and sabbatical leaves, which contributes to transferring global expertise to the heart of Beni Suef University
