The Faculty of Pharmacy at Beni Suef University is among the finalists for the Egypt Government Excellence Award in the category of government colleges.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university has qualified for the final list (the best 10 faculties) to compete for the top three positions in the Egypt Government Excellence Award in its current cycle. This came after a strong competition that included 326 faculties from various Egyptian universities, which underwent accurate and comprehensive evaluation processes based on the criteria of strategic planning, digital transformation, and innovation. It is worth noting that the Faculty of Pharmacy has obtained the accreditation certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.

Dr. Tarek Ali, the university president, stated that the Faculty of Pharmacy's reaching the final stage is a culmination of the university's efforts in enhancing institutional performance and applying global quality standards. He emphasized that this award represents one of the most important mechanisms for implementing the directions of Egypt's 2030 vision towards a modern and efficient government apparatus. He also pointed out that the university continues to support its faculties participating in the various categories of the award, based on the role of educational institutions as a fundamental pillar in building a knowledge society that leads the future of the country.

For her part, Dr. Shahira Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, explained that this achievement reflects the faculty's ability to develop its academic and administrative systems and enhance the efficiency of its research and educational services in line with the award's comprehensive evaluation model, which is based on three main pillars: achieving the vision, innovation, and enablers. This ensures an objective and transparent performance evaluation. She also expressed her gratitude to the university administration, headed by Dr. Tarek Ali, for its continuous support and for providing a stimulating environment for excellence. She emphasized that the faculty is currently awaiting the official announcement of the winners of the top three places, and that they are determined to represent Beni Suef University in a manner befitting its prestigious academic reputation.
