Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced a new achievement added to the University’s growing record of success, as the University has been ranked among the top 100 Arab universities in the Arab University Rankings (AUR 2025). It also secured 26th place among Egyptian universities and 86th place at the Arab level out of 285 participating universities, reflecting the continuous improvement in its academic and administrative performance.
The University President affirmed that this achievement reflects the significant efforts exerted by the University at all levels and confirms that it is moving steadily toward achieving its vision of becoming one of the leading universities at the Arab and regional levels. He noted that this ranking is based on four main pillars: quality of education, scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship, and community service, which underscores the University’s commitment to applying standards of excellence across all its activities.
For her part, Dr. Sama El-Dok, Director of the Office of International Rankings and Sustainable Development, stated that the advancement in the Arab ranking of applied universities is the result of collective effort and precise strategic planning, which has positively impacted the University’s ranking this year. She explained that this progress represents an important step toward strengthening the University’s position as a distinguished academic institution in Northern Upper Egypt and opens broader horizons for academic and research cooperation at both the regional and international levels.
