Beni Suef University Hospitals received 283,000 patients in outpatient clinics during 2025

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university hospitals have received more than 283,200 patients in the outpatient clinics  throughout 2025, serving patients from various centers within the governorate and neighboring governorates, marking an unprecedented leap in service provision. This achievement was made possible under the supervision of Dr. Hani Hamed Desouki, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the hospitals, and Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of the hospitals. This reflects the growing public confidence in the university medical system, with its distinguished academic staff and unique specialized clinics designed to serve patients according to the highest standards of medical quality
Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that this achievement reflects the university's leading role in the community and its ongoing commitment to developing the healthcare system in line with the state's vision. He pointed out that university hospitals represent the first line of defense in providing safe medical services. The university president highlighted the hospitals' unique offering of a range of specialized clinics that represent a qualitative addition to the governorate, including clinics for lupus, multiple sclerosis, diabetic foot, and cardiothoracic surgery, as well as specialties in family medicine and therapeutic nutrition. He also emphasized the strategic role of the "24" Hospital in East Nile which successfully served over 7,000 patients and met the needs of local residents through 19 specialized clinics. Dr. Hani Hamed emphasized that the university spares no effort in supporting its hospitals with all necessary technical and human resources to ensure the sustainability and improvement of healthcare services provided to the people of Upper Egypt

In a related context, Dr. Hamed noted that the university hospitals include 50 comprehensive outpatient clinics covering all medical specialties and providing daily services to a wide range of patients. He pointed out that the dermatology clinic was the most popular, receiving 39,060 patients, followed by the ENT clinic with 26,546 patients. Pediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, and neurology each saw between 10,000 and 14,000 patients
For his part, Dr. Emad El-Banna affirmed that this record increase in patient numbers is a natural result of the expansion of specialized clinics, strict adherence to medical quality standards, and the dedication of medical staff to providing the highest level of patient care. The CEO added that the hospital administration is implementing an ongoing plan to modernize infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency, ensuring the capacity to accommodate the growing patient flow and provide a sophisticated healthcare system that meets the needs of citizens and adheres to the latest treatment protocols
