Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the commencement of patient admissions at the outpatient surgery clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary . The clinic will provide necessary veterinary medical services to citizens and perform various surgical procedures required by breeders of different animal breeds and species in Beni Suef Governorate. This initiative is under the supervision of Dr. Khaled El-Nesr, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Narmin Atef El-Shimi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Arafa Moshref, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Education; and Dr. Ayman Sadek, Head of the Department of Surgery, Anesthesia, and Radiology at the Faculty
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the opening of the outpatient surgery clinic at the Faculty of Veterinary  is part of the university's commitment to serving the local community in Beni Suef Governorate. He emphasized the faculty's dedication to providing comprehensive medical support to livestock breeders by performing surgeries on various animal breeds and species. He noted that the clinic serves as a vital training facility, offering students the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop their clinical skills under the supervision of a select group of specialized academic staff. This, he added, will contribute to the advancement of the veterinary healthcare system and simultaneously support the educational and training process

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Nasser stated that the outpatient surgery clinic is fully prepared to receive all cases, emphasizing that the college has dedicated all its technical and human resources to providing distinguished medical services befitting the citizens and contributing to the preservation of the governorate's livestock. He added that all departments are operating at full capacity to provide consultations and perform delicate surgical interventions, stressing the college's commitment to continuously developing its community services to keep pace with the latest advancements in veterinary  and meet the needs of the local community
