The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Beni Suef University organizes a seminar on "Mechanisms for Implementing the Literacy Program"

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized a seminar on "Mechanisms for Implementing the Literacy Program" This initiative is part of the fruitful cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education. It was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Nahla Mohamed Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels; Dr. Heba Allah Sobhy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs; and Dr. Mahmoud Moawad Tamam, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Osama William Tawfik,  General Director of the General Authority for Adult Education in Beni Suef Governorate
Dr. Tariq Ali explained that the seminar aimed to provide students with a clear roadmap for implementing the literacy program, through a detailed review of the procedures and requirements for enrollment in the program, in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education. He noted that the lecture covered in detail the students' obligations for formal enrollment, the steps for class registration, and the process of successfully completing the literacy tests. He emphasized that the university is committed to providing all its resources to support students in fulfilling this national duty, which contributes to the advancement of society and the development of national awareness
For her part, Dr. Nahla Mohamed Helmy expressed the college's pride in hosting this event, which reflects Beni Suef University's leading role in addressing national issues, foremost among them the issue of literacy. She emphasized the college's commitment to removing all obstacles for its students to actively participate in this project, noting that this seminar serves as a vital link in informing students of their rights and responsibilities towards society. She also thanked the Beni Suef Adult Education Authority for its ongoing cooperation in training and qualifying students
