Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a scientific day for the Department of Organic Chemistry for first-year students. The day was supervised by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Osama Al-Jundi, Dean of the Health Sciences Sector, Dr. Rania Mohamed Sarhan, Director of the Pharmacy Program, and Dr. Iman Kamal, Head of the Department of Organic Chemistry. The event was also attended by Dr. Nesma Mamoun , Dr. Taha Hamed, and faculty members of the department.
The scientific day featured the display of a collection of posters and models that embody what was studied in the "Organic Chemistry 2" course, within an interactive and applied framework aimed at developing students' presentation, comprehension, and practical application skills, with the work evaluated by faculty members.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized that the university places great importance on academic activities that develop students' skills and contribute to preparing distinguished graduates capable of keeping pace with modern scientific developments. He praised the level of organization and active student participation during the scientific day, noting that the scientific day comes within the framework of the College of Pharmacy's efforts to strengthen the connection between theoretical courses and practical applications, contributing to the development of learning methods and the improvement of the quality of education within the university.
